This associate will be responsible for technical excellence in areas pertaining to both biological science and mechanical testing for new product design & development.

REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree in engineering is required (Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
2+ years of engineering experience is required, preferably in medical devices.
Demonstrated ability to utilize statistical tools and computer analysis.
Experience with general mechanical testing equipment such as INSTRON.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated successful learning agility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct test procedures for the Chemistry, Biological Science, and Clinical laboratories.
Conduct mechanical test procedures on INSTRON equipment.
Co-develop and execute studies investigating and trouble-shooting technical issues.
Prepare written technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses of assigned projects.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Experience with handling biological specimens, particularly human clinical samples is desirable.
Knowledge of procedures for blood borne pathogen safety is necessary and will be provided.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and willing to conduct hands-on work.
