Working from home for women can be exciting, empowering, and even profitable, provided that you are realistic about the pros and cons. 1. CREATE A DESIGNATED AREA OF WORK

3. MAKE TIME TO EAT NUTRITIOUS MEALS

Although it may seem silly to give a tip about what to eat, many people find it difficult to have a healthy breakfast and lunch while working remotely. Consider hiring a house help if a time crunch is there.

4. TAKE BREAKS

You can feel tired if you spend too much time in front of a computer. Move your body and, if you can, go outside. One-on-one conversations can be made on the phone while you walk around.

7. SEEK OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIALIZATION

Sometimes it can be lonely to work from home all day. Grab a coffee with a friend, or eat lunch with a family member. A social break does not have to take place face-to-face. It's possible to quickly call a friend or family member to stay in touch.

8. BE PATIENT WITH YOUR KIDS AND SET EXPECTATIONS FOR YOUR TEAM

It is difficult to work at home with children. Be positive and do your best. Talking with kids about the reasons why you need to work with your team can be helpful. SheJobs expert suggests it's equally important to set expectations with your team if kids are at home.

11. IF YOU ARE HAVING A HARD TIME WORKING FROM HOME, IDENTIFY YOUR REASONS

"Identify what it is that you are struggling with when working from home. Are you struggling with loneliness, motivation, or distractions? You can identify your problem and then find a solution.

Earlier, women used to put their passion aside and quit their careers. The lack of flexibility in the work culture was the main reason behind this sacrifice. It was not the choice they made but more like the lack of options that they had.

Work from home is like a silver lining for working mothers; flexibility allows them to maintain their work-life balance.
