**Candidates can be located in or around Boca Raton, FL or Irving, TX. Position is remote but will have to attend meetings occasionally.
** Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Business or closely related field Experience:
3 years HR experience, ideally with background check activities
• Previous project coordination and administrative experience, preferably in a recruitment, human resource or consulting environment
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Taleo or Oracle Cloud experience is a plus Skills:
• Thinks critically, reasons analytically, solutions appropriately, and communicates effectively
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing priorities and deadlines with a sense of urgency and master interdepartmental relationships to meet departmental objectives
• Ability to research and work quickly to find data needed to drive towards solutions
• Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Self-starter who is naturally inquisitive. Please ensure that your candidates have the following skill sets on their resumes and how and where they were used. Excel experience with formulas, Vlookups and pivot tables are requirements for this position.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop a thorough understanding of the background check packages, components and workflow needed for several business functions
• Ensure contractual obligations are met by comparing background check components to documented background check requirements
• Perform project activities that may include: current and future state processes, gap analysis, project tracking, risk mitigation, solution development, user acceptance testing, and communications within and outside of project team
• Create processes that leverage new vendor technology
• Develop process improvements that lead to effective and efficient background check operations
• Collaborate with adjudication, legal, HR, security and business teams as needed in response to background check results
• Partner with background check vendor to define and monitor key metrics, create reports, and provide data for decision-making
• Support the background check process for unique population segments, such as unions, post-hire badges, newly acquired companies, and pre-hires as needed
• Use reports to provide data-driven recommendations regarding people, processes, and technology
