FIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER 
 

We’re looking for a talented Military Veteran to work as a Field Operations Manager and join our industry-leading Portland-based construction company. 

  

$50,000 to $60,000 plus great benefits package includes medical and retirement Plan, Company Car, Laptop and Cellphone. 

 

You should have at least two years of construction experience in Logistics, Quality, and Material Handling.

 

Full time, direct-hire position.

 
 
WORK SCHEDULE
 
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm, with occasional Saturdays

WHAT YOU'LL DO
 
The job will be in hardwood lumber company based in Portland Maine and they offer installed sales to the greater Portland area. This person would work with both employees and subcontractors.
 
  • Coordinate installations, repairs, and warranty jobs with builder, homeowners, warranty personnel, and installers
  • Inspect and ensure quality of all installations
  • Schedule field operations
  • Oversee 4-8 projects per week
  • Make sure vans are equipped and maintained
  • Schedule material deliveries
  • Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, quality and completing assigned work in a timely manner
  • Manage 6 employees 
 
 
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED
 
  • 2 Years and more in Logistics, Quality, Material Handling
  • Knowledge of construction
  • Building - Trade (Housing) Experience
  • Multitasking
  • Planning and Organizing
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Auto-traffic Mindset
  • Maintaining Calendars
